FEND-ALL® DOCK FENDERS
Strength at the Core – Durability by Design
Decks & Docks knows that your dock is an investment that deserves the best protection. That’s why we’re a proud supplier of FEND-ALL® dock fenders. This super dock fender product will help keep your boat and dock looking and functioning at their best for years to come.
BENEFITS OF FEND-ALL® DOCK FENDERS
Whether you need protection for your private dock or your marina, Fend-All® fenders offer numerous benefits compared to other dock protection options.
-
Superior Protection
Fend-All® fenders absorb the energy that vessels generate during berthing or mooring by deforming and rebounding, reducing the force that impacts transmit to the dock and vessel. This protects from collisions caused by docking too quickly or during rough weather.
Protection from dock fenders prevents scuffing from day-to-day impacts, reduces the need for expensive repairs, and extends the life of your boat and dock. It also increases safety by reducing unwanted drifting and swaying and sudden, violent impacts. -
Customization
Decks & Docks supplies FEND-ALL® fenders to fit docks and vessels of many different sizes. We offer fenders for corners, straight edges, and pilings so that you can easily customize your protection for the areas of your dock that need it the most.
Most FEND-ALL® products are available in black or white, so you can choose the color that looks best with your dock and boat. Contact us by phone for assistance with custom sizing information. -
Durability
Dock fenders made from foam or rubber tend to chip or decay within a few seasons, becoming unattractive and less effective. FEND-ALL® offers a more durable solution.
Double-walled and continuously supported, FEND-ALL® products offer high energy absorption. Made from 100% certified prime flexible and UV-resistant PVC, they can withstand exposure to saltwater, gasoline, oil, and marine life.
With the FEND-ALL® 3-year warranty and 10-year life expectancy, you can install your fenders with confidence. FEND-ALL® makes all its fenders in the USA. -
Easy Installation
A single person can easily install FEND-ALL® dock fenders. Start by measuring the length of the area where you want to install the bumper.
Next, measure the distance between the dock and the water so that you can make sure your bumper isn’t submerged. If you are installing fenders on posts, measure the length and the width of the post to ensure a proper fit.
Once you have your measurements, cut your dock bumpers to the correct length. Place your fenders where you will install them and mark where the holes should go.
Pre-drill your holes. Attach the bumpers with stainless steel lags. Stainless steel costs more than other metals but will last longer in the harsh marine environment.
Fend-All® Dock Fenders Profiles
Fend-All® products come in seven different profiles to fit the needs of different boats and docks.

The FA201 dock fenders are for larger vessels and floating docks. They come in standard lengths of 10’ in black or white.

Selecting Your Fend-All® Dock Fenders
The expert staff at Decks & Docks can help you choose the best option for your needs. Take these factors into consideration when choosing fenders for your dock.
Size and Type of Vessel
Different sizes and types of vessels generate different levels of energy. It is important to choose fenders that can absorb the amount of energy the vessels docking at your dock will generate.
Layout and Conditions of the Docking Area
The water depth, available space, and tidal variations in your docking area affect what types of bumpers you need. Environmental conditions, such as wind speed, water currents, and wave action, also play a role.
Estimated Impact Force
It is important to choose protection that can withstand the maximum amount of force likely to impact your dock. You can estimate this based on the speed and weight of your vessel and the angle of its approach to the dock.

FAQS About Dock Fenders
What Is a Dock Fender?
A dock fender is a device that absorbs shock from impacts between boats and docks. Dock protection can be cushions, air-filled balls, or devices made specifically for protecting docks, such as Fend-All® products.
What Is the Difference Between Fenders and Bumpers?
Many people use the terms fenders and bumpers interchangeably. Some people use one term to refer to protection attached to a dock and the other to refer to protection attached to a boat.
How Long Do Dock Fenders Last?
The lifespan of your fenders depends on their durability. Fend-ALL® products come with a three-year warranty and have a 10-year life expectancy.
What Size Should Dock Bumpers Be?
The size of your bumpers depends on the weight and length of your boat and the mooring conditions. Check the size charts for the product you intend to buy.
Use larger, heavier-duty fenders if you will dock in harsh conditions or your boat is heavy for its size. A good rule of thumb is to install 1” of diameter for every 4’ to 5’ of boat length. The experts at Decks & Docks can help you select the right size fenders for your dock.
How Many Dock Fenders Do You Need?
You should have at least one fender for every 10’ of waterline along your dock. Install a minimum of three fenders.
Should Bumpers Be Vertical or Horizontal?
Vertical bumpers work well to reduce impacts when your boat is traveling alongside another boat, seawall, or a flat area of a dock. Horizontal bumpers tend to work best when passing a post or piling.
Where Do Fenders and Bumpers Go?
The placement of your fenders and bumpers depends on what type of dock you have and how you intend to use it. For example, pleasure boat docks with pilings underneath or floating docks may need cushioned edging around the perimeter. Docks with exposed pilings may need padded bumpers on the pilings.
